Too often young patients are forced to battle cancer on two fronts — one physical and one financial. Since 2017, the fund has provided grants to eligible patients between the ages of 25-35 who are receiving treatment at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. The grants help patients pay rent, cover child care, buy groceries – whatever it takes so they can focus 100 percent of their energy on getting better. The fund's goal is to provide a financial bridge to their recovery.
