Cristi’s MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE – Ten minutes or less! 

My morning skincare routine takes me only ten minutes. I start in the shower by rejuvenating my skin with Clarisonic.

In just 60 seconds, the brush gently, yet thoroughly removes 2X more dirt and oil than manual cleansing alone. Removing these impurities has been shown to allow a 61% better absorption of Vitamin C, and better prepares skin for other products as well as stimulates blood flow for a healthy glow!

If you have not invested in this amazing machine – put it on your wish list.  It is a must have.  I also splash my face several times with cold water to increase circulation and get rid of any puffiness.

I then use Phloretin CF serum by Skinceuticals. This potent antioxidant serum protects, brightens and firms.

Moisturize – Everybody needs a product to help skin to stay soft, smooth and hydrated. Even oily skin needs a bit of extra hydration- especially in the winter. The key is to pick a product suited for your skin type.

Depending on my skin that day I use either Diamond Extreme or NB Tolerance Creme from Natura Bisse.   Diamond Extreme Eye Creme.

Hour Glass Mineral Veil Primer (SPF 15)  – This reduces redness and softens fine lines. It helps to keep my make up looking good all day.

Hour Glass Illusion Tinted Moisturizer – with the no 7 brush – we are all obsessed with how smoothly this brush works to apply foundation perfectly.

Laura Mercier – Dune Bronzer  – for cheeks and contouring.  Most days I use the Golden Mosaic from Laura Mercier for a simple eye look.

Add liner of choice depending on my mood and mascara – and I am ready to go.

 

EATING A GOOD BREAKFAST

Believe it or not, treating your skin right in the morning is also about your diet!

Start the day with berries – blueberries,  strawberries and raspberries all contain vitamins C and E, which are terrific for your skin. Vitamin C restores your skin by helping produce natural collagen, while vitamin E keeps it moist and smooth.  My favorite breakfast is a green smoothie! Like having 2 salads for breakfast complete with essential vitamins, enzymes- where ever the day goes from here I feel like I’ve done something good from the start!

Staying hydrated is another vital component, so drink your water — at least eight 8-ounce glasses — each day. Think of it as drinking to your beautiful self!
